Second Post

This last week has been extremely busy, and I think things are only going to get busier from here! I am now in my 36th week of pregnancy; which means that as of next week the baby can really come any time he wants! I am not due until March 21st, but everyone keeps reminding me that the date is not set in gold. I need to keep that in mind because I still believe he is going to wait until he is "due".

In these last few months time has just been flying by. Doctor's appointments have become more frequent, as have nights of interrupted sleep and frequent trips to the bathroom! My belly has also been going through a lot of changes. I feel like I get bigger and bigger everyday. The comments I get from people seem to greatly support this feeling, as I am told daily that I look like I am "about to pop"! I'm not really sure I want to "pop" but I am definitely excited for the baby to be here!

First Post

My name is Ilorra Cunningham. I am currently a third year junior at Grace University, and am working towards getting my degree in elementary education. I grew up being home schooled and did not have much experience with the public or private realm of education. However, after beginning a tutoring job at All Saints Elementary School I decided that teaching was for me! Since then I have had practicum experience in grades: kindergarten, first and second. Although I enjoyed the older grades at this point I am still partial to kindergarten. My hope is to be done with all classes my 4th year and have a 5th year semester of student teaching, and then have a job teaching in a Kindergarten classroom.

As for right now I am very busy with school and am getting ready to have my first child! I am eight months pregnant with a beautiful baby boy who will be named Emery James Cunningham. I am due March 21st and am very excited for all that motherhood has in store!
